Aviation Writing

     How has Avaition changed over the years:Past to Present

Why did people want to fly?

Years ago people were fascinated by the idea of flying.Most people will get famous like the wright brothers are.When people run off from a hill and glide,they probably feel like they are being a bird .Most  people get rich by flying and they make history.

How did people try to fly in the past?
In the past they didn't know such things as engines or metal or how to use those things. But they figured out how to use propellers ,paper,wood, and fabric ,and they ran off an elevated surface which isn't really flying but in the past they thought it was flying.

How did people fly in the in the present?
In the present people started to be able to make engines . But they still use propellers to move forward.Most planes are made out of metal but places like the Air Force Museum they still have planes made out of fabric,wood and paper.

Why did planes change?
Because people got smarter and people finally figured out a way to make engines ,and there's no war.

Balloon rocket thrust

So what: In our group of 3 someone blew up a balloon and someone else taped the straw onto the balloon then 2 people holds onto the string and someone else lets go of the balloon.

So what: In our group of 4 we tested out a paper helicopter and card helicopter to see which helicopter will take the longest.

Wigram Airforce Musium

What:We had a visit the Wigram Airforce museum 
So what: The most interesting part was the plane with the red carpet  because it was for the queen.
Now what: I still want to know the person who was the first person that flew.

What:We have been learning about ANZAC day and how people commemorate the day.

So what: I've learnt that 500 woman had to become nurses because of the WAR.As soon as they landed on the  Gallipoli beach New Zealand people started dieing.There was 2 doctors and 6 nurses for about 700 people.
Now what: I still want to know some-one in my family that went to war.

Run bike run

What:We went to Halswell Domain to do Run Bike Run.
So what: Paige and I came 6th place and we were in the top ten so we got some house points( MIRO) .
Now what: I could try do the biking instead of running or do it by myself

Egg sitting challenge

We are doing the egg sitting challenge for KOS (Keeping .ourself .self.).
Aim:To take on the role of a caregiver of an egg for 4 days.
Why an egg?
Because they are easy to break and fragile.
How does this relate to KOS?
It is also part of keeping someone else safe.
My egg has a plaster on it because it has a small crack,so I'm treating it like a human.
If you don't won't to look after it some one has to look after it / baby sit it.
